A fan-made trailer for Deadpool 3 imagines the upcoming partnership between Deadpool and Wolverine. The eagerly-anticipated Deadpool sequel has been announced for a November 2024 release. Ryan Reynolds is set to return as his wise-cracking character Wade Wilson, while Shawn Levy, who has previously worked with Reynolds on The Adam Project and Free Guy, is set to direct. While the first two Deadpool films were produced by Fox, who owned the rights to the comic book character at the time, the next sequel will be made under Disney since the company acquired the rights to a growing number of Marvel characters over the past few years. Due to this significant change, it’s been confirmed that Deadpool 3 will be a part of the MCU. In regards to the story, Reynolds once claimed the original idea was a road trip comedy starring Deadpool and Wolverine. Though initially taken lightly as a possible joke on Reynolds’ part, it has since been confirmed that Hugh Jackman will indeed reprise his portrayal of Wolverine in Deadpool 3.
